1st European hacker seminar organised by juFORUM

What is the link between computer freaks and voluntary work in an association? Organisations like juFORUM e.V. use IT- and web applications in an increasing way to organise their voluntary work and to communicate. To exchange experiences of the variety of different IT solutions, programming languages and open source tools, juFORUM organises the 1st European IT meeting for youth organisations, the "MILSET Europe Spring of Code" from 20th to 25th march 2009.

There computer freaks and interested from youth organisations all over Europe will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of their IT structures. Presentations about IT solutions are scheduled 20th to 23rd march, continued by a Hands-On part (programming and implementation), 23rd to 25th march. Additionally a workshop on transfer of beneficial applications to other countries and on a common MILSET IT strategy will be held.

Of course, fun won't be missed out, and there will be plenty of possibilities to meet other nerds from all over Europe. The meeting will be made perfect by presentations by professors of the TU Braunschweig, eventually the sightseeing of the DLR (German Aerospace Center) in Braunschweig or by talks of participants on useful tools.
